Job Responsibilities As operations manager, you have overall responsibility for the operations' development, employees, quality, and finances. You lead the operations through first-line managers and play a central role in creating conditions for high quality, good work environment, and sustainable results. You are responsible for attracting, developing, and retaining competent and engaged employees, and you drive strategic development work within care, research, and education. The assignment involves building on the operations' strong foundation while creating conditions for continued development of highly specialized care, research, education, and accessibility. As operations manager, you are part of the leadership team for the Specialized Care Area and report directly to the area manager. Qualifications We are looking for you who is a specialist physician within a relevant medical specialty with clinical experience equivalent to on-call competence. You have documented management or leadership experience within Swedish healthcare and experience leading change and development work. You express yourself well in Swedish orally and in writing, and you have good knowledge of English. A doctoral degree within a relevant field and experience from a university hospital or other highly specialized care is meritorious. As a leader, you are confident, clear, and have strong clinical anchoring. You build trusting relationships, communicate well, and create engagement and participation. You work strategically and in a structured manner with the ability to translate goals into practice. With the patient in focus, you drive operations development with quality, accessibility, and patient safety as guiding stars. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
