As our current manager moves on to a new leadership role within Uppsala Municipality, we are now seeking a new Operations Manager for Stenhagen who wants to make a difference for both service users and employees. Together with the Operations Manager for Ekeby, you will work closely in the shared mission to continue developing the home care services of the future in Uppsala Municipality. Your Assignment As Operations Manager, you are responsible for leading, developing, and monitoring operations with a focus on quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement. The goal is to create conditions for safe and professional care while promoting good working conditions and high job satisfaction among your team. You will have operational, personnel, and budget responsibility for approximately 30 employees. Your responsibilities include: leading, organizing, and monitoring daily operations developing and strengthening employee competence and engagement maintaining close dialogue with service users, relatives, and partner organizations driving strategic initiatives and improvement projects responsibility for budget, quality, operational monitoring, and goal achievement In recent years, the operations have undertaken a comprehensive investment in competence and quality development. As Operations Manager, you will continue to drive and further develop this work together with your employees and fellow managers. You will work closely with the Operations Manager for Ekeby. Together you will share offices in Flogsta, which creates excellent conditions for collaboration, knowledge exchange, and joint development. In daily operations, you will be supported by planners and coordinators, and you will be part of a management team characterized by collaboration, trust, and shared responsibility for the entire operation. Specialist functions in areas such as HR, economics, communications, occupational health, and rehabilitation will also support you in your role. Uppsala Municipality's health and medical care organization is responsible for supplying licensed personnel to the operations. Your Background We are looking for an experienced and dedicated manager with the ability to achieve results through others. You have a genuine interest in people and operational development and are driven by building strong teams where employees have the opportunity to grow and succeed. For this role, you must have: substantial management experience experience working in health and care a university degree of at least 180 credits that the employer deems relevant, such as social worker, HR specialist, nurse, occupational therapist, or physiotherapist strong ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing good digital competence and experience working with various systems and programs It is an advantage if you have experience in elder care or home care services and hold a driver's license. As a person, you are confident, stable, and clear in your leadership, and those around you find you very easy to work with. You have the ability to remain calm even when operations face challenges or rapid changes. You build trust by being present, consistent, and transparent in your actions.
