Your Assignment
As Operations Manager, you will drive the operation with a focus on development and improvement with the goal of achieving the absolute best possible care for service users and high satisfaction among employees. As Operations Manager, you are responsible for the operation, approximately 30 employees, and finances.
Your assignment includes:
leading and organizing daily work on-site in the operation
developing the employees in your team
maintaining close dialogue with service users, their next of kin, and collaboration partners
actively participating in the development of the entire operational area by driving long-term issues and working for continuous improvement
responsibility for budget, quality work, and follow-up of the operation's goals
Your immediate team will consist of your fellow Operations Manager for Norby and a planner and coordinator who support daily operations. Your shared office is located in Eriksberg, which is served by city buses. You will also work closely with your other management colleagues and be part of a management team with genuine community. You will also have support from staff and support functions such as finance, HR, quality, and communication.
Uppsala Municipality's health and medical services organization handles the provision of licensed personnel in the operations. Together we develop the area's mission and utilize resources efficiently.
Your Background
We are seeking an experienced and engaged manager who enjoys, has drive, and is capable of building operations and work teams. In other words, you should have solid management experience and experience working in health and care. If your experience is from elderly care/home services, that is a merit. You hold a university degree of 180 credits in an area we consider relevant for the position, for example, social work, human resources, nursing, occupational therapy, or physiotherapy.
We are looking for someone who is confident, clear, and development-oriented. You establish an open climate where we learn from our mistakes, act with transparency, and welcome feedback. You are a good communicator who inspires and encourages participation and innovation, and you are sufficiently structured to hold together and maintain long-term goals. You are fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written, and are experienced in working digitally and with various programs and systems.
