RESPONSIBILITIES As Operations Manager for Disability Support Services, you have overall responsibility for operations, finances, quality, and work environment. You lead through your unit managers and are part of the Welfare Administration's management group, where you together with others contribute to the overall development of the administration. You step into an assignment where there is a need for development. The operation faces challenges related to high costs, high sick leave, and long-term sustainable staffing and competency provision. At the same time, there is a need to strengthen management and leadership through clearer structure, follow-up, and accountability. An important part of the assignment is also to develop collaboration both within the operation and with other parts of the administration. You work to clarify the connection between goals, resources, and results, and create conditions for present and sustainable leadership at all levels. By working together with your managers and employees, you develop organization, working methods, and culture. The assignment requires you to both think differently about how the operation is organized and conducted, and at the same time maintain a clear direction toward an operation at the forefront. This means you drive development in, for example, staffing, work environment, competency provision, and working methods and collaboration, with the goal of creating an operation with high quality and efficient resource utilization. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with relevant higher education and leadership experience, preferably at a strategic level. It is meritorious if you have experience leading through other managers and feel comfortable in the role of leader in a politically governed organization. Experience from the disability support services sector and knowledge of LSS and SoL are important for the assignment. It is meritorious if you have worked with change management, development of management and leadership, and handling of operations with financial and organizational challenges. As a person, you are clear, structured, and persistent. You have the courage to make decisions and the ability to drive change over time. You are strategic and analytical, while you build trust and create participation. A class B driver's license is a requirement, as well as good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing. Employment type: Permanent employment. Duration: Permanent, start: Start date by agreement.
