About Unika LSS - Region Norr As an operations manager in Region Norr, you will become part of a close-knit and engaged management team where we collaborate closely, share experiences, and support each other in all matters. You have independent responsibility for your operations, but you are never alone in your role. Region Norr encompasses operations in Uppsala, Gävle, and the northern Stockholm area. Operations managers work closely with their operations and staff, but we also have a shared office in Uppsala that provides opportunities to meet, work together, and stay close to colleagues. We are now seeking an operations manager responsible for LSS operations in Uppsala and surrounding areas who wants to become part of our team and contribute to continued development and quality in the region. About the Role of Operations Manager As an operations manager, you lead the work with responsibility for daily operations and activity planning. You provide staff with the best conditions to contribute with safe and high-quality support. With responsibility for personnel, finances, and quality, you follow up on the operation's goals and contribute to systematic quality work. You also have workplace safety responsibility and serve as the licensed operator for your operations. You sit in the operational management group in the market area and report to the regional manager. Main Responsibilities: Responsibility for daily operational management, personnel, and scheduling Conduct systematic quality work and develop the operation Ensure that agreements, assignments, and regulations are followed Maintain ongoing contact with service users, staff, and families Finances and budgets related to the operation Ensure occupancy based on budget and set goals Who Are You? Your educational background must align with the formal requirements to be a licensed operator for an LSS operation. You are a confident leader with previous experience working with the adult target group within LSS. As a leader, you are courageous, straightforward, and clear in your communication, and you enjoy working close to operations. You enjoy collaborating, sharing experiences, and supporting colleagues while being confident in independently driving your operations forward. You apply a coaching, solution-focused approach and work toward set goals. Qualifications: Requirements: University education such as social worker, behavioral scientist, or equivalent education, according to requirements from the Inspectorate for Health and Care (IVO) Education in social law of at least 7.5 credits (if not educated as a social worker) Previous experience working in LSS residential facilities 9:9 Management experience Experience with budget work and financial analysis Very good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing Category B driver's license Meritorious if you also have: Education in social work methodology, such as clarifying pedagogy. Experience working in private care operations Experience leading operations in development and change Placement The majority of your working time is based in the operation to enable close management.
