You are responsible for the area of authority, outpatient care, LSS and health and medical care. The position is placed under the sector manager and is part of the sector's management group, which also includes a development strategist, MAR and MAS. As an operations manager, your task is to work with the management group to formulate strategic goals and activities, as well as to provide support to unit managers in implementation. You provide unit managers with the right conditions to succeed by supporting, challenging and contributing to their development. In this way, they can grow in their leadership and carry out their assignments with high quality. You are a key person in putting the sector's transformation roadmap into practice and ensuring that managers and employees have good conditions to work systematically with quality development according to established procedures. You have overall responsibility for the development of the business area, employees, work environment and budget. Together with your unit managers, you lead, develop and follow up on operations. You work to establish and develop good cooperation and work towards good relationships both internally and externally. Being a manager in a small municipality means short decision-making paths and great opportunities to influence – but also requires that you can independently navigate between strategic issues and operational needs. You thrive in that variety and make wise trade-offs based on what is best for the business. YOUR COMPETENCE We are looking for a confident and experienced leader with a genuine commitment to individual and family care, LSS, authority exercising and health and medical care. You see the whole picture in social services' various assignments and have the ability to hold together complex operations with different assignments and legislation. You have the ability to drive development work and see opportunities instead of obstacles. The assignment requires you to have clear visions for the future and work in a goal and results-oriented manner. You are a role model who motivates and inspires your employees to develop in their professional roles and in the organization. You have the ability to engage and enthuse as well as lead the operation in an present way in everyday life. We are looking for someone who has a social work degree or other academic background/education that the employer deems equivalent. It is meritorious to have experience in leading other managers, experience of exercising authority in individual and family care, LSS and health and medical care, as well as experience of working in a politically controlled organization. REQUIREMENTS Category B driving license Relevant university education For this position, you are required to present a valid extract from the Police's criminal record and suspicion register before employment.
