Therefore, we are now recruiting three new management positions, one of which is an Operations Manager for LSS and Individual and Family Services (IFO). Job Responsibilities As Operations Manager for LSS and IFO, you report directly to the Director of Social Services and an important part of your assignment is to represent your units' interests in the social administration's management group. You will manage eight managers, and your role will involve work at both strategic and operational levels. In your assignment, you are responsible for leadership, coordination, and development of the operations. You work strategically with a focus on quality, legal certainty, and long-term financial sustainability. At the same time, you are expected to be able to support managers and staff with complex issues and cases. Your assignment includes, among other things: Lead, support, and develop the operational unit managers within IFO and LSS. You strive to create good conditions for the managers' work environment and continuous development. Ensure that operations are conducted in accordance with applicable legislation, political objectives, and established quality requirements. Provide qualified support on matters relating to the Social Services Act (SoL), LSS, and complex cases. Ensure that both LSS operations and social services maintain good quality throughout the municipality. Responsible for budget, financial monitoring, and resource planning within the operational area. Drive development and change work to meet future needs and create long-term sustainable operations. Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders. Contribute to the social administration's strategic development as a member of the management group. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to create effective working methods and good care quality. Qualifications We are looking for you—an experienced leader with the ability to combine strategic thinking with operationally close leadership. You have a good understanding of public operations and experience leading complex organizations where quality, economy, and development go hand in hand. For the position, you must have: Relevant academic degree, for example a degree in social work or other education that the employer considers equivalent. Several years of experience in management or leadership positions. Experience with budget responsibility and financial management. Experience working within social services, LSS, or related operational areas. Good knowledge of relevant legislation, particularly SoL and LSS, but also LVU and LVM. Holds a Class B driving license. It is advantageous if you: Have experience working within municipal operations. Have experience from a similar operations manager role. Have experience with change and development work.
