We are now seeking an Operations Manager for our employment services, with responsibility for employment, activity centers, and social service dog programs. Here you'll have the opportunity to lead engaged employees and drive development in services that make a real difference in people's everyday lives. The Open and Early Intervention Services Department within the Care and Services Administration, Uppsala Municipality, has the mission to develop preventive and easily accessible interventions based on knowledge and evidence so that more municipal residents can be offered early support when needed. The goal of these services is to enable residents of Uppsala Municipality to live independent and healthy lives for as long as possible. Meeting points, employment services, social psychiatry, Family Support Center, short-term care, day activities, and Safety Line are examples of services included in the department. What do we offer you? As an Operations Manager, you will work in a smaller department with a major development mandate with many opportunities. Together, we drive development, quality work, and digitalization forward to stay at the forefront. Your mission includes developing both newly launched and already established services, personnel responsibility for approximately 10 employees, and building and developing working methods and collaboration forms for the services. The services are currently located on Stålgatan in Boländerna. One of your primary tasks is to create the best conditions for your employees to succeed through operational leadership. Your mission involves managing the business with a focus on development and improvement, ensuring high-quality care for participants and a pleasant work environment for employees. You will actively work with quality and competence development within your service. Work as an Operations Manager is varied, and you have the opportunity to plan your days based on the business's needs, which gives you flexibility. You will work closely with your management colleagues and be part of a smaller team where you collaborate and support each other on various matters. You report to the Area Manager and are part of the management group, where you will be involved in the entire department's development. Your background You have a higher education degree in an area the employer considers relevant. Management training is a merit. The position requires at least two years of experience working in the care and services field and previous experience with personnel responsibility, work environment responsibility, and financial responsibility. Experience working with social psychiatry clients is a merit. You have good knowledge of the Social Services Act, good experience working digitally in various programs and systems, and good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing.
