Job Description As operations manager, you will have a central role in leading and developing the operation, with great opportunity to make a difference for both employees and patients. Together with the care unit manager, you will create conditions for a well-functioning, secure, and development-oriented health center. In your role, you will lead and plan the operation and be responsible for budget, personnel, work environment, patient safety, and medical quality. An important part of the operations manager position is to work with employees to translate the organization's goals into daily work. Through engaged and present leadership, you will contribute to participation, development, and continuous improvements. You will become part of an engaged network of managers within the region-operated health centers. Through primary care's management forum, you will have the opportunity to collaborate, share experiences, and develop together with fellow managers. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the joint development of future primary care in Region Östergötland. Collaboration is an important part, and as operations manager, you will build and develop good relationships with other care providers and local community actors to create the best possible conditions for our patients together. You will report to the primary care area manager for the eastern part of the region. Work Group At Cityhälsan Söder Health Center, approximately 70 dedicated employees work with broad expertise and a strong focus on quality and patient safety. About You We are seeking someone with a relevant university degree in health care or another education that the employer considers equivalent. You have experience working in health care and previous experience as a manager, preferably in health care. It is highly meritorious if you have experience working in primary care and are well familiar with the requirements and challenges a health center faces. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability. You are a present and accessible leader who builds trust, engagement, and good relationships. Through clear and responsive leadership, you promote collaboration between professions and utilize employees' expertise to develop the operation. You have a holistic perspective and use the operation's resources in a responsible and sustainable manner. With focus on quality and patient benefit, you lead, together with the care unit manager, development and change initiatives and create participation by involving and motivating employees. You inspire confidence in your leadership, have good self-awareness, and make well-founded decisions even in challenging situations. You value diversity and inclusion and see the strength in different experiences and perspectives. In your actions, you always keep the operation's best interests in focus. Application and Employment You will be offered a permanent full-time position in your base profession. The management assignment is a fixed-term appointment for four years. Start date by agreement.
