The position is placed within the Care and Services Administration, which is one of eight administrations in Linköping Municipality. The Care and Services Administration is responsible for the municipality's elderly care, health and medical care, authority functions, procurement of services, and operates care and services in-house. Your responsibilities We are currently seeking two operations managers, one for Kärna home care and supported housing, and one for Ryd home care and supported housing. As an operations manager in home care, you have overall responsibility for operations, personnel, work environment, and budget within your geographical area of responsibility. You lead, coach, and develop your employees to ensure high-quality and person-centered care around the clock. Your team consists of approximately 30 nursing assistants and care assistants. Your responsibilities include: Lead and distribute daily work and ensure that services are based on the individual's needs and approved decisions, in accordance with our values and dignity guarantees. Responsible for personnel, which includes recruitment, skills development, employee meetings, and promoting a good and sustainable work environment. Actively work with quality development and monitoring of operations, including implementing new working methods and welfare technology. Work toward a balanced budget and use resources in an efficient and responsible manner. Collaborate with other units, professionals such as licensed personnel, assistance coordinators, and external actors to create a seamless and secure care pathway for the individual. About you We are looking for you who are a confident, stable, and courageous leader with a strong inner compass. You have the ability to see both the bigger picture and the individual and can translate strategic goals into operational action. You are a communicative and relationship-building person who is motivated by seeing your employees and your operations grow. You have: Relevant university education, such as social worker, social care, nurse, or other education that the employer considers equivalent. Leadership experience, such as manager, group leader, or coordinator. Experience working in a politically governed organization. Good knowledge of legislation and guidelines that govern operations (SoL, HSL). Ability to express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish. Good computer skills and an interest in digital tools as support in operations. For the assignment in Kärna, a B driver's license is required. It is a merit if you have experience leading change and development work as well as knowledge of the "Close Care" concept. We use tests as part of the assessment if you proceed in the process.
