About Us
VKV is the West Sweden Region's center of expertise on violence in close relationships. We have a regional mission to create, gather, and disseminate knowledge in areas such as men's violence against women, violence in close relationships, honor-related violence and oppression, sexual assault, prostitution, and human trafficking for sexual purposes.
VKV's mission is to strengthen healthcare and dental care services' ability to identify, meet, and support patients with experiences of violence. We do this through education, method development, research, collaboration, communication, and consultation, with healthcare professionals and dental care professionals as the primary target group. Through our work, VKV contributes to equipping care staff with better conditions to fulfill their mission regarding violence-related issues.
About the Role
As Operations Director, you will have overall responsibility for operations, finances, and personnel, which includes work environment, quality assurance, and operational development. You will participate in management work and contribute to a holistic perspective and development, as well as collaborate regionally and nationally within the organization's mission areas. You will also be part of the management group together with 16 operations directors in the Expert Units regional area who work together on development within the field, and you will have personnel responsibility for approximately 10 employees. The regional area is growing and we continually receive new assignments, so additional operations may be included in your role in the future.
You will report to the Regional Area Director, who sits on the Regional Health Administration's executive management.
The office is located in Gothenburg, but alternative placement within the West Sweden Region can be discussed.
About You
We are looking for someone with solid knowledge in the competency area and a broad understanding of VKV's mission areas. For this position, you need a university or college degree in an area the employer deems relevant. We would appreciate it if you have management or leadership experience in public service. You have the ability to lead specialists in both research and development, as well as experience working with environmental scanning and collaboration regionally and nationally with relevant authorities and organizations.

About the Recruitment Process
In this recruitment process, you do not need to submit a cover letter. Instead, you will answer some questions about your experience. First interviews are planned for the afternoon of September 8 and 11 in Gothenburg. In the recruitment process, occupational psychological tests may be relevant; these are scheduled for week 38.
