About the Organization The Swedish Agency for Digital Government (Digg) works to accelerate Sweden's digitalization and create a sustainable welfare society. Together with the public sector, the agency develops solutions that strengthen digital collaboration, data sharing, and digital infrastructure. From January 1, 2027, Digg will merge with PTS to form the new Swedish Digitalization Agency. About the Role We are seeking experienced Business Architects who want to contribute to important societal initiatives within digitalization. The assignment includes work with the new interoperability law as well as development of a coordinated identity and authorization solution for the public sector. The role involves close collaboration with business units, IT, and external stakeholders to create long-term sustainable solutions. Role and Responsibilities In this role, you will, among other things: Plan, analyze, and develop proposals within interoperability and data sharing. Calculate benefits and contribute to developing regulatory areas linked to interoperability requirements. Develop business architecture in close collaboration with business units and IT. Analyze, design, and implement solutions for identity and authorization management for the public sector. Coordinate efforts among different stakeholders and ensure solutions meet business needs and strategic goals. Document and communicate solutions in a pedagogical and audience-tailored manner. Lead workshops, meetings, and discussions within complex business areas. Required Qualifications We require that you meet all of the following mandatory requirements: Fluent in speaking and writing Swedish and English. At least five (5) years of experience as a business architect and/or information architect plus experience with solution architecture. Broad architectural expertise within frameworks, models, methods, and process/business architecture. Ability to adapt and communicate architectural solutions to different audiences. Experience developing and maintaining soft infrastructure such as frameworks, standards, digital services, and specifications. Experience leading workshops, meetings, and discussions within complex areas. At least one (1) year of experience with agile software development as a business architect in an agile team. Experience working in the public sector, such as a government agency, municipality, or region. Desirable Qualifications More than one (1) year of experience working on initiatives driven by EU initiatives (excluding GDPR). More than five (5) years of experience documenting and conveying architecture solutions, frameworks, models, methods, and business processes. At least one (1) year of experience implementing government-wide solutions. Experience with needs assessment and stakeholder engagement for development work. More than one (1) year of experience working with national digital infrastructure (ENA). Experience collaborating with multiple actors such as agencies, municipalities, and regions on complex matters where different needs must be balanced. Assignment Information Assignment Period: October 15, 2026 to October 14, 2027. Extension Options: Two (2) extensions of six (6) months each, up to April 14, 2028. Work Hours: 100% full-time, approximately 40 hours per week. Number of Resources: Two (2) consultants sought. Work Location: Sundsvall or Stockholm. Office Attendance: At least one (1) day per week during 2026. From January 2027, at least three (3) days per week in the office is required. Assignment Start: No later than October 15, 2026. Language: All communication and CV should be in Swedish. Security Requirements: The assignment must be performed within Sweden's borders. Digg equipment will be used and security training will be completed before assignment start. A confidentiality agreement will be signed.
