Our operations IT at the Medical Products Agency consists of the Digitalization Unit (DIG) and the Cybersecurity, Infrastructure and User Support Unit (CIA). DIG currently has approximately 90 engaged employees who, together with CIA, take a comprehensive approach to the agency's digitalization. We work closely with operations and deliver accessible, stable and secure IT support that provides concrete value. We have a relatively large proportion of in-house development and our teams continuously develop both working methods, technology and tools with a focus on quality, collaboration and learning. Your responsibilities As a business architect with a focus on informatics/informatician, you are responsible for mapping, structuring and ensuring the quality of the Medical Products Agency's information with a focus on the Medical Technology business area. You work together with subject matter experts and other architecture roles to establish correct terms and concepts and build appropriate structures for documentation and governance of information models, code sets and conceptual models. You drive and develop work on: definition and management of concepts, terminology and information models structuring and quality assurance of information domains traceability, information ownership and governance of information resources establishment of processes and decision forums for terminology and concepts change and harmonization of existing information structures ensuring that information architecture work is linked to business objectives and expected outcomes The work takes place in close collaboration with subject matter experts, solution architects, business architects and development teams. You ensure that information models and concepts are correctly implemented in our services and systems, and that the terminological work complies with internal guidelines and external regulations. The role involves strategic, tactical and operational work, where you are a key person in creating a long-term sustainable information architecture. The Medical Products Agency is governed by Swedish and European legislation and our IT systems are often integrated with both national and international IT systems, where exchanges with European contacts and networks occur. Your background We are looking for someone who has: relevant higher education in informatics, information architecture, systems science or equivalent as assessed by the employer as equivalent several years of experience working as an informatician, information architect, business architect with a focus on informatics or equivalent role in an organization with extensive and complex information structures solid experience in defining, documenting and managing conceptual and logical information models experience in establishing common concepts and terminology and driving terminological change work worked to ensure interoperability and high information quality in systems and services good understanding of how information models are translated into technical solutions very good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing. It is meritorious if you have: experience from healthcare and/or life science experience working with standards such as HL7, FHIR or other domain-specific information standards experience with modeling languages and methods such as UML, ER diagrams or similar knowledge of information security, data protection (GDPR), storage and disposal understanding of API design (for example REST/JSON) from an information architecture perspective experience with master data management (MDM) Your personal qualities To succeed and thrive in the role, we see that you are structured and analytical with a good ability to see the whole and connections. You have high pedagogical ability and can explain complex information structures in an understandable way and are driven and enjoy taking initiative and leading change work. Good collaboration skills and trust-building to anchor changes in dialogue with both operations and IT.
