Härnösand Girls and Women's Crisis Line is seeking an Operations Manager at 50% About Härnösand Girls and Women's Crisis Line Härnösand Girls and Women's Crisis Line is a non-profit organization working to support women who have been or are being subjected to men's violence. Currently, the crisis line has 1 full-time employee and 14 volunteer crisis counselors. The employer for staff is the crisis line's non-profit board, which is also responsible for and decides on the organization's direction and content. Härnösand Girls and Women's Crisis Line is part of ROKS, the National Organization for Girls and Women's Crisis Lines in Sweden, which is a women-separatist organization. This means that only women are employed and work as volunteers at the crisis line. The crisis line's current activities include: Support via chat, phone and individual conversations for women and girls with experience of violence, as well as practical support and assistance in contact with social services, police and other authorities. Outreach work through, for example, lectures and visits to youth centers, schools and workplaces. Advocacy activities. Crisis line housing. About the Position We are now looking for a female operations director who wants to lead and develop the crisis line's activities in consultation with the board. In your role, you have personnel, financial and operational responsibility. You are also responsible for developing and following up on the crisis line's work and have overall responsibility for leading ongoing operations. A large part of your work will be outreach and advocacy activities. You will coordinate outreach work with the municipality's various operations (schools, social services, home care, youth centers, etc.), associations and businesses, as well as other external partners such as police and healthcare. This includes outreach activities and networking with potential collaboration partners. We would appreciate if you have experience leading and securing funding for projects, as this is part of the development the board sees for the crisis line in the future. Responsibility for seeking recurring operational funding, including from the National Board of Health and Welfare, will also rest with you as operations director. You also need to be prepared to step in and take calls from girls and women seeking support when needed. Work Tasks · Administrative tasks such as invoice handling, compilation of statistics, etc. · Seeking project and operational funding · Planning and leading projects · Developing the crisis line's preventive and outreach work · Leading ongoing operations, including supervising other staff Qualifications We are looking for someone with a degree in social work, behavioral science or equivalent education. Merits include experience in a leadership position and work in a crisis line or other social services.
