General Job Responsibilities:
Conduct accounting expertise (economic crimes – fraud, embezzlement, shortages, insolvency, fictitious employment, etc.);
When necessary, participate in document seizure at their place of storage and consult with case managers regarding document seizure;
Participate in activities to maintain the quality system in the department;
Participate in the development and improvement of new methods;
Within the scope of your competence, provide professional assistance/consultation to case managers.
Education and Professional Experience Required:
Academic higher education or second-level professional higher education (economics or business);
Specialization in accounting will be considered an advantage;
Work experience as a qualified accountant;
State (Latvian) language proficiency – highest level C;
Working in MS Word, MS Excel environments;
Ability to organize, plan, ability to formulate and implement priorities in fulfilling job duties;
Ability to clarify, provide consultation within your competence on matters related to job performance;
English language knowledge for performing certain job duties;
Good analytical skills, high sense of responsibility, precision and focus on achieving results.
We Offer:
Gross monthly salary corresponding to salary group 11: 1938 EUR – 2025 EUR;
Work in a state government agency on a full-time basis (40 hours per week), working hours: 08:00-16:30 (except when overtime work is necessary);
