Citizenship and Migration Affairs Administration of the Republic of Latvia Registration No. 90000054163 announces a competition for a position of LEADING SENIOR SPECIALIST in the Methodological Guidance Division of the Personal Identity Documents Department (permanent position) Requirements for applicants: 1) compliance with the requirements of Article 7 of the State Civil Service Law; 2) higher education (academic or second-level professional higher education, legal education preferred); 3) state language proficiency at the highest level; 4) English language proficiency at least at B1 level (necessary to ensure international cooperation and work with English-language information); 5) skills to analyze large volumes of information, skills in drafting legal acts, decision-making; 6) very good computer skills (Word, Excel); 7) understanding of electronic identification tools will be considered an advantage; 8) experience in drafting legal acts and development planning documents will be considered an advantage. Main job responsibilities: 1) methodologically supervise the work of the structural units of the Citizenship and Migration Affairs Administration on matters related to personal identity documents; 2) develop drafts of legal acts, development planning documents, and opinions in the field of personal identity documents. Prepare draft decisions as provided for in legal acts, as well as prepare draft responses to natural and legal persons; 3) provide necessary information to natural and legal persons in the field of personal identity documents. The Citizenship and Migration Affairs Administration offers: 1) monthly salary of EUR 1,522.00 during the probation period and EUR 1,690.00 after the probation period before tax payment; 2) additional leave, leave compensation; 3) health insurance (after a six-month probation period), compensation for vision correction devices; 4) an excellent work team and well-equipped workplace in Riga, at Čiekurkalna 1st Line 1 (working hours from 8:00 to 16:30); 5) extensive free parking.
