SIA "Jēkabpils reģionālā slimnīca" Announces a job opening for SENIOR CHEF position (permanent) Monthly salary: EUR 1100 (one thousand one hundred euros) gross. Location: A.Pormaļa iela 125, Jēkabpils, Jēkabpils novads, LV-5201 Requirements for candidates: Secondary or secondary professional education (relevant courses are acceptable); Preferred minimum 1 (one) year of work experience in a senior chef or similar position; Experience working with technology cards and kitchen documentation; Knowledge of hygiene and food safety requirements (HACCP); Understanding of chef work quality, equipment and tools used, and quality standards; Knowledge of regulations related to job duties; Strong communication and team leadership skills; State language proficiency in accordance with the State Language Law. Main job duties: Organize and coordinate daily kitchen operations; Lead, train, and supervise chefs and kitchen support staff; Master food preparation techniques and work with technological equipment; Prepare food according to technology cards; Ensure food preparation in accordance with recipes, quality standards, and serving requirements; Control product quality, expiration dates, and proper storage; Participate in menu development and improvement; Plan and control raw material consumption, reduce food waste; Process kitchen documentation and reports within the scope of competence; Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene requirements (e.g., HACCP); Control sanitary conditions in the kitchen and compliance with occupational safety regulations; Resolve non-standard situations and efficiently organize work during intensive workloads; Monitor inventory levels; Cooperate with management on kitchen improvements; Ensure high service quality by maintaining the quality of prepared food and timely distribution.
