National Armed Forces Joint Headquarters (reg. no. 9000006880) announces a competition for the position of SENIOR ACCOUNTANT for indefinite-term employment Main Responsibilities: • perform calculations of personnel business travel expenses; • monitor accounts receivable and payable balances; • process advance settlements; • process invoices and create payment orders, perform payment import/export related to business travel from the RVS Horizon State Treasury system; • perform reconciliation with the general ledger, verify funding, economic classification, etc. Work Location: Riga, Krustabaznīcas Street 9 (on-site work). Requirements for Candidates: • at least level 1/short-cycle professional higher education in finance, accounting, or related field; • previous experience working with the RVS Horizon compensation calculation system is desired. To perform this position, you must obtain a special permit for access to state secrets in accordance with the Law "On State Secrets" sections 9(2) and 9(3). We Offer: • monthly salary from 1654 to 1797 euro (before taxes); • additional vacation days and vacation allowance as determined in state administration; • health insurance after the probation period.
