MINISTRY OF DEFENCE announces an open competition for a civil service position Defense Planning and Analysis Department Structure and Military Personnel Development Planning Division – Senior Expert We invite you to join our team to contribute to the long-term development planning of the National Armed Forces, promote the improvement of military personnel development policy, and provide analytical support for decision-making regarding the development of soldiers, national guard members, and reserve personnel to strengthen the state's defense capabilities. Main job responsibilities: analyze information and prepare proposals for NAF long-term development planning and other policy planning documents in the context of military personnel recruitment and training; gather and analyze information, prepare reports and analytical documents; evaluate and develop draft regulatory acts on NAF development and planning issues; coordinate long-term development of national guard and reserve soldiers, promoting priorities set by the defense sector. Requirements for candidates: compliance with the requirements of Article 9 of the Law "On State Secrets" compliance with the requirements of Article 7 of the State Civil Service Law; first cycle higher education; strong analytical and planning abilities, ability to analyze processes; experience in drafting planning documents and draft regulatory acts; good knowledge of English (knowledge will be tested) – necessary knowledge for analyzing materials and preparing documents in English; work experience (at least three years), preferably in public administration; knowledge of security and defense policy issues; interest and knowledge in the field of state defense, military service specifics and NAF tasks; good communication and presentation skills; sense of responsibility and accuracy, ability to express opinions clearly and argumentatively, ability to work in a team; good computer skills, good skills in working with MS Excel. To perform job duties, the civil servant must use a separately issued national electronic identification solution, i.e., eSignature eID.
