MINISTRY OF SMART ADMINISTRATION AND REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT announces a competition for the position of SENIOR EXPERT in the Development Instruments Department National and Foreign Support Instruments Division (state civil service position for a fixed term) ABOUT US The Ministry of Smart Administration and Regional Development is the leading state administration institution responsible for regional development planning and coordination, municipal development and supervision, territorial development planning and land management, implementation of the single window principle in state and municipal service delivery, as well as e-governance, digital transformation in public administration, and nature protection. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES You will be responsible for: Preparation of the European Economic Area Financial Instrument 2021-2028 program, including preparation of the restricted selection competition application evaluation procedure; Implementation of the European Economic Area Financial Instrument 2021-2028 program, including participation in the evaluation of restricted selection competition applications; Monitoring of the European Economic Area Financial Instrument 2021-2028 program, including organization of meetings with donor country partners and preparation of information on the program implementation status. WE EXPECT YOU TO HAVE Higher education in economics, finance, business management, management science, law, or another field relevant to the position, supplemented with professional knowledge necessary for the role; Knowledge and experience in managing national and European Union structural funds or other foreign financial instrument programs or projects; Interest and knowledge in regional development, civil protection, or state aid regulation issues, as well as understanding of policy documents and regulatory acts in these fields; Understanding of the state administration system and preferably work experience in public administration and in developing policy planning documents or regulatory acts; Ability to work both in a team and independently, conceptual thinking, good communication skills, results-oriented approach, and professional ethics; Very good English language skills (job duties include working with documents and communication in English); Compliance with the requirements of Article 7 of the State Civil Service Law.
