The Ministry of Health (reg. no. 90001474921) announces an open competition for a vacant position of Senior Expert at the Cross-Sectoral Policy Coordination Division (civil servant position for a fixed term). If you are ready for new challenges, to become a professional in health policy and use your talents, knowledge and experience to achieve common public health goals, we invite you to join the Ministry of Health team as a Senior Expert at the Cross-Sectoral Policy Coordination Division. The aim of the Cross-Sectoral Policy Coordination Division is to coordinate the development of comprehensive and coherent health policy by engaging health sector experts and cooperation partners, monitor implementation progress and ensure synergy between health policy objectives and priorities with policies of other sectors. You will have the opportunity to: - Prepare drafts of legal acts and planning documents; - Prepare reports on health policy issues; - Prepare opinions on drafts of legal acts and development planning documents developed by other ministries; - Prepare opinions on drafts of European Union legal acts and policy documents; - Analyze horizontal policy issues in the health sector, prepare reports, provide recommendations; - Coordinate the preparation of the Ministry of Health's annual work plan and prepare reports on its implementation; - Represent the state in health sector working groups at European Union institutions, World Health Organization working groups and other foreign and international organizations on matters within the division's competence. We expect from you: - Compliance with the requirements of Article 7 of the State Civil Service Law; - Higher academic or second level professional higher education in social sciences, economics, law, medicine or a bachelor's degree in health sciences in healthcare; - Practical work experience in state administration or local government; - Practical work experience in the healthcare system; - Experience in developing development planning documents or regulatory acts; - Understanding of legal acts regulating the health system and policy planning documents; - Understanding of the organization and planning of the healthcare system and public health system; - Understanding of the organization and planning of the healthcare system and public health system; - Understanding of the procedure for organizing state general statistics and health statistics; - Desirable understanding of applied research organization and methodology; - Knowledge of European Union institutions and decision-making processes, understanding of EU legal acts and their implementation mechanisms; - English language proficiency at least at B1 level to ensure communication with foreign cooperation partners; - Ability to plan your work and take responsibility for assigned duties; - Ability to critically analyze information, formulate your opinion, high sense of responsibility; - Digital literacy, ability to apply digital analytics tools, including Power BI; - Excellent communication, collaboration skills and negotiation skills, ability to build positive interactions, accuracy and sense of responsibility.
