Main job duties: • Provide systematic, organizational, and methodological support for the development and updating of professional qualification requirements included in professional standards and sectoral qualification structures, in accordance with methodology and regulatory acts. • Coordinate and implement vocational education content development processes in accordance with applicable education regulatory acts, including relevant state education standards. • Coordinate and lead work on improving vocational education content in accordance with changing labor market requirements. • Provide methodological support to vocational education institutions in developing vocational education programs. • Collaborate and provide methodological support to sectoral expert councils and sectoral ministries in developing qualification structures and professional qualification requirements included in professional standards. Prepare necessary documentation. • Develop recommendations, improve methodologies, and organize methodological seminars. • Participate in the implementation of vocational education development projects. • Participate in the development of external and internal regulatory acts, as appropriate to competence. • Participate in meetings, working groups, seminars, sessions, expert councils of the Agency and other institutions or organizations, as appropriate to competence. • Ensure maintenance of digital registers of documents and preparation of necessary documents within the division's competence. Requirements for candidates: • Excellent command of Latvian language. • Academic or professional higher education in pedagogy or education sciences, corresponding to at least the sixth level of the Latvian Qualifications Framework. • Experience in the last three years in vocational education (pedagogical work in a vocational education institution or higher education institution or other institution). • Experience in developing educational content documents (curriculum subjects standards and programs) and/or educational methodological materials. • Experience in organizing methodological work at the state, municipal, or education institution level. • Knowledge and skills in assessing learning outcomes. • Ability to work with standard office equipment and software (MS Word and MS Excel, web browsers, email programs).
