The Interior Ministry Digital Center (registration No. LV90000289913) is a direct administration agency under the supervision of the Interior Ministry. The Center's mission is to promote crime prevention and combating, protection of public order and security using information processing and analysis tools, as well as to provide the Interior Ministry and its subordinate agencies with operational radio communication and private electronic communication network systems complying with European Union requirements. The Interior Ministry Digital Center invites applications for a permanent position Senior Network Administrator in the Computing Infrastructure Department of the Technical Department Your responsibilities will include: Administering, maintaining, and developing large-scale (more than 1000 users or multi-agency/sectoral) ICT computing infrastructure; Ensuring the availability of security certificate issuance services signed by certified certification institutions for the technical resources under the Center's management; Proposing solutions to hardware/software operation issues and managing their implementation; Managing and controlling the administration of complex computer systems, operating systems, and application packages with a large user base; Participating in negotiations with suppliers and monitoring the execution of supply agreements. Our requirements: First-level higher education; Five years of experience in administering large-scale ICT infrastructure systems or their components; In-depth knowledge of ICT infrastructure systems or their components administration. Ability to quickly assess complex problem situations, identify root causes, and propose effective solutions; State language proficiency (level C1); Second-category authorization for access to state secrets is required; Good communication and cooperation skills.
