About the Position Tunabyggen is a municipal housing company with a clear public mission. We combine academic excellence with many years of practical property management experience. As CEO, you are Tunabyggen's primary representative and a trusted communicator who builds confidence through dialogue with the board, owner, the municipality, business community, and other important stakeholders. You contribute your own perspectives and advance dialogue with the board, translating goals and strategies into concrete results through clear communication and engaged leadership. You hold ultimate responsibility for the company's operations, finances, and organization. In this role, you lead the management group, present to the board, and report to the board. With a holistic view and focus on results, you drive the company toward its established economic, social, and environmental sustainability targets. The position involves leading with clarity, care, and courage, and strengthening a culture characterized by collaboration, accountability, and development. You create structure, direction, and momentum in operations and ensure that Tunabyggen is well-equipped to meet future demands in housing supply, sustainability, digitalization, and community development—for the benefit of Borlänge Municipality, our tenants, and other customers. About You We seek someone with strong commitment to leadership and community issues, and who is driven to develop organizations, people, and business. You are strategic and analytical, yet action-oriented and confident in decision-making. As a leader, you are receptive and unpretentious, while also daring to set requirements and take responsibility when the situation demands it. We would welcome experience from the business sector and/or market-driven organizations, where the ability to achieve results through people, communication, and relationships has been essential. You are committed to recognizing and developing the expertise that already exists in the organization and lead with trust, clarity, and inspiration. We seek someone who has: Relevant academic education Several years of experience leading managers and operations at a strategic level Strong experience with economics, governance, and follow-up Understanding of corporate governance Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written Valid B-class driver's license Meritorious: Experience from the property, housing, or community development sector Experience working in or with municipal operations Experience with board work or working closely with a board We place great emphasis on your personal qualities.
