Laholm Stål AB is a small company with big opportunities. We are a specialized industrial company within centrifugal casting and mechanical processing of stainless steel materials. We deliver customized solutions to manufacturing companies in, among others, the paper, pulp, offshore, shipbuilding, chemical, food, and mining industries. The company has a turnover of approximately 50 MSEK and employs around 20 people. We are in a clear growth phase with a target of approximately 15% annual growth. This Will Be Your Assignment As CEO of Laholm Stål, you will have an assignment where you have the opportunity to make a real difference. You take overall responsibility for the business and lead the company through the next phase of development and growth. The role involves close collaboration with the board and parent company Sjögull Partners, while you have a strong mandate to independently drive day-to-day operations. You lead and develop the company within production, sales, finance, and organization. Together with the management team, you create structure, clear goals, and efficient working methods that strengthen both profitability and delivery capability. You are responsible for ensuring that operations are conducted with high quality, good working conditions, and clear customer focus. A central part of the assignment is developing the business. You build long-term customer relationships, participate in major business dialogues and quotations, and identify new business opportunities that strengthen the company's growth. At the same time, you drive operational development by streamlining processes, developing the organization, and creating the right conditions for future investments and increased capacity. You also have overall responsibility for the company's finances and work continuously with budgets, forecasts, results, and monitoring of the business's key figures. In close dialogue with the board and owner, you report the company's progress and translate the long-term strategy into concrete activities and results. To Be a Suitable Candidate We are looking for someone with documented experience in leadership within manufacturing industry and who has had overall responsibility for operations, personnel, and results. You are a business-minded leader who thrives at combining strategic thinking with operational and hands-on leadership. You have experience developing businesses, building customer relationships, and creating long-term profitability. Furthermore, you have a good understanding of finance and feel confident working with budgets, results, investments, and operational monitoring. You express yourself very well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing, and also have good knowledge of English. It is a merit if you have your background from the foundry industry or if you have experience from a mechanical workshop or within the metal industry. You should have good knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, and it is especially meritorious if you have experience working according to PED 2014/68/EU and EN 13445. If you have worked in business systems such as Monitor or Pyramid, we consider that a plus. To succeed in the role, you are a confident, clear, and unpretentious leader who builds trust with both employees, customers, and the owner. You work in a structured manner, have a strong business drive, and are motivated by developing people, operations, and businesses.
