Chief Executive Officer of Doroteahus i Dorotea AB Our current CEO has chosen to move on to new challenges and we are therefore looking for a successor who wants to lead and develop Doroteahus i Dorotea AB in the next phase. Doroteahus i Dorotea AB is a municipality-owned housing company that owns and manages approximately 360 apartments and commercial premises within Dorotea municipality. Doroteahus i Dorotea AB plays a central role in the municipality's housing provision and community development. As CEO, you are responsible for ensuring that the company long-term contributes to the municipality's housing provision through well-maintained, economically sustainable and attractive real estate holdings. The role involves balancing the business perspective with the company's important societal mission. Over the coming years, Doroteahus will undergo a strategic energy transition with the aim of reducing energy consumption, strengthening the long-term value of the properties, and contributing to the company's financial goals. This work should be combined with a clear focus on profitability, cost control, and efficient management of the company's real estate portfolio. The role involves close collaboration with the board, tenants, contractors, Dorotea municipality, and other external stakeholders. You lead the operations both strategically and operationally with the goal of ensuring a long-term sustainable and financially strong organization. Key Responsibilities As CEO, you are responsible for: Leading, developing, and representing the company in accordance with ownership directives and board decisions. Ensuring efficient and long-term management of the company's real estate portfolio. Responsibility for operations, finances, personnel, and work environment. Developing the company's profitability through active management of operating costs, maintenance strategies, and investments. Driving work on energy optimization, energy efficiency, and sustainability issues. Ensuring sound financial management, budget monitoring, and results control. Planning and prioritizing maintenance and investment needs based on the properties' life cycles and operational goals. Leading change and development work and creating engagement and participation in the organization. Ensuring that operations are conducted in accordance with legislation, regulatory requirements, and good practice within municipal operations. Contributing to the municipality's housing provision by managing attractive, safe, and sustainable living environments. Qualifications We are looking for someone who has: Relevant higher education within, for example, real estate management, engineering, business economics, or other education that the employer considers equivalent. Several years of management experience in similar assignments that the employer considers relevant. Experience in financial management, budget work, and operational monitoring. Good understanding of real estate management, operations, and maintenance issues. Knowledge of workplace legislation, rental law, and other regulations relevant to the assignment. Good ability to communicate in Swedish, both orally and in writing. It is advantageous if you have experience in: Municipal companies or politically governed organizations. Strategic real estate management and maintenance planning. Energy optimization and energy efficiency projects. Change management and business development. Public procurement according to LOU. Collaboration with elected officials and public administration. Dorotea municipality is a Sámi administrative area. Cultural competence and knowledge of the Sámi language are therefore advantageous.
