WORK TASKS Do you want to contribute to healthier water and make a concrete environmental impact? We are now seeking a Measures Coordinator/Water Coordinator for the Community Development Unit at Hallstahammar Municipality. The project employment runs through October 31, 2029. As a Measures Coordinator/Water Coordinator, you will work on the project "Measures Coordination in the Kolbäcksan Drainage Basin" to reduce eutrophication. The project is a collaboration between Hallstahammar, Surahammar, and Fagersta municipalities and is financed by LOVA funds. The work includes coordinating the actors involved in the Kolbäcksan drainage basin, with a focus on mapping and implementing measures against eutrophication. You will also participate in the Mälaren Water Protection Association (MVVF) network for measures coordinators and in the Swedish Agency for Marine and Water Management's LEVA network. QUALIFICATIONS As a person, you are outgoing and engaged. You have the ability to identify necessary measures, take initiative, and drive projects from start to finish. You will function as a collaboration partner for the drainage basin in various contexts. The work is both strategic and practical, and you will thrive in an environment characterized by development and challenges. You work independently, both at the office and out in the field. It is also important that you maintain close dialogue and good cooperation with landowners, farmers, and other stakeholders in the Kolbäcksan drainage basin. We are looking for someone who has experience and interest in water issues and who: -Has relevant natural science university education in limnology, hydrology, agronomy, soil science, or similar field. -Has a strong interest in water issues and wants to work concretely to make environmental impact. -Is self-driven and takes own initiatives, sets goals, and meets deadlines. -Is skilled at seeking out and collaborating with various actors and creating engagement and dialogue. -Has the ability to understand new issues and work with a broad societal perspective. -Has good skills in communicating both verbally and in writing in Swedish. -Has a Class B driver's license and access to your own car.
