What you can expect from the role As Store Manager at Biltema, you will be responsible for managing a store with a team consisting of a management group, department managers and store employees who work together to develop and run the store. You will also meet our fantastic and loyal customers, as we are a family store with products that create value and make everyday life and leisure easier. You are a present Store Manager who leads through your management group. During your workday, you coach your colleagues and thereby see them grow and take new steps in their development. You recruit your colleagues, implement new procedures and become part of our wonderful group of engaged and driven leaders. The position gives you great freedom to lead the development of the store according to local conditions and goals. You are an important culture bearer and a present leader who actively participates in the work in the store, in the warehouse and in meetings with customers. The role includes daily workplace environment work to make your workday enjoyable, safe and secure. You have a broad role that involves great action and responsibility. Your introduction consists of guidance and mentorship from other stores as well as internal and external training. The position is a permanent employment that begins with a 6-month probationary period. Employment is full-time, 40 hours/week. What we expect from you To thrive in this role, we see that you have extensive experience in sales and management within retail or grocery retail, you have probably worked in the role of Store Manager or Store Manager for at least 5 years. If you have also worked with volume retail, it is highly meritorious. You are used to coaching and leading other managers. Several years of experience in workplace environment work and good knowledge of labor law are fundamental requirements for us. As a person, you are a clear role model for your employees and an ambassador for the company. Creating results is a given for you and you run your store with an entrepreneurial spirit. You have good communication skills and value internal and external contacts. We are looking for a team player who enjoys collaboration and is passionate about creating a good atmosphere in the workplace. Furthermore, you like short decision-making processes and action.
