The World's Fastest Journalism Job – auto motor & sport Seeks a Roving Reporter Do you love cars, people, and stories that no one else has told? Do you have a sharp pen, a nose for news, and don't mind that the world is sometimes your workplace? auto motor & sport is shifting up the print edition and is seeking a roving reporter. We will continue to do what we do best. Fast car news, thorough reviews, and smoking-hot fresh test drives of the latest models. Now we want to complement hard consumer facts with more stories behind the cars. The people, ideas, conflicts, technology, and trends that are changing the automotive world. That's why we're looking for you – someone curious about the people behind both the technology and the steering wheel. You have a nose for news and trends, you like talking to people, and you dare to ask the questions that no one else asks. You love to write, and of course you love driving a car. As a roving reporter, you need to be ready to try new things, new formats, and new ways of working. One assignment might be test-driving a brand new car. The next might be finding the person or story that others have missed. Age? Doesn't matter. We want to broaden auto motor & sport and reach a new and younger readership. That's why knowledge of youth car culture is a bonus. Maybe you know about (or are yourself a) car spotter, the car world on TikTok, Instagram and YouTube, or you have a network among the people shaping the next generation's car interests. Junior writers – don't hold back. Maybe you're a recent journalism school graduate or have extensive experience. Are you a senior writer with solid automotive knowledge, journalism experience, and stories under your belt? We'd love to hear from you too. What we offer: Regular freelance assignments with great creative freedom, the world as your workplace, and access to some of the automotive world's most exciting news and new models. What you have: A fun and sharp pen, a driver's license, curiosity about the car world, and the ability to find a story where others just see a car. Location: We're seeking reporters broadly across the country. Where the story is. You also have the opportunity to work together with the editorial team at Karlavägen in Stockholm. Scope: Regular part-time freelance assignments. auto motor & sport publishes 12 issues per year. Does this sound like you? Call or send a few lines about yourself, tell us why you'd be perfect as our roving reporter, and please attach a couple of examples of things you've written or done before. Do you have questions about the assignment? Get in touch with: Julia Brzezinska, Editor-in-Chief, auto motor & sport [email protected] 076-281 60 01 Open to Everyone We focus on your skills, not your other circumstances. We are open to adapting the role or workplace to your needs.
