Paramedicine comprises six care units with a regional mandate and has approximately 200 employees. Here work social workers, dietitians, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. Paramedicine offers treatment, rehabilitation, and prevention to maintain, restore, and provide the foundation for good health with continuous care chains for our residents. Paramedicine works on behalf of other parts of the healthcare system, which requires good collaboration and a holistic perspective regarding the patient's needs. The position offers flexible work locations and you can be based in either Gävle or Hudiksvall. We are looking for someone who wants to be part of developing our operations and actively drive improvement efforts forward. WORK DUTIES As a Care Development Specialist within Paramedicine, you have an important role in leading and coordinating the operation's development work in line with our goals and prioritized areas. You work both strategically and operationally by supporting the units in planning, structuring, and following up on their improvement efforts. You are part of the management team and work closely with the Operations Manager, Chief Secretary, and Quality Coordinator to create the best possible conditions for sustainable and quality care. Main responsibilities • lead and coordinate improvement and development efforts within the operation • contribute to development and follow-up of the operational plan • educate and support managers and employees in change management • drive work with risk analyses and reporting • design surveys at both operational and unit levels. Building relationships in a responsive and professional manner comes naturally to you, as does being present in the operation. As a person, you are organized and have the ability to plan and prioritize your work to achieve set goals and deadlines. You are flexible and adapt when conditions change or new needs arise in the operation. Furthermore, we also see that you are initiative-taking and drive the work forward by identifying development opportunities and implementing them as practical improvements for the operation. To succeed in the role, you need • higher education in healthcare or other university-level qualifications that the employer deems relevant • experience working in healthcare. If you have higher education in a paramedical profession, this is a merit for the position. It is also advantageous if you have experience leading care development, quality development, and/or operational development, preferably from public sector operations. A trial period may be applied.
