Imaging and Functional Medicine (IFM) Västerbotten operates extensive services at Norrlands University Hospital in Umeå, Skellefteå Hospital, and Lycksele Hospital, as well as at health centers in southern Lapland. IFM Västerbotten is responsible for imaging radiological examinations such as nuclear medicine, mammography, and advanced peripheral and neuroradiological intervention. The equipment includes six MR cameras, nine CT units, two PET/CT units, and one cyclotron. The clinic performs approximately 200,000 examinations per year. A large portion of operations consists of on-call work conducted at local, regional, and national levels. Research is conducted in collaboration with Umeå University with a focus on fMRI and nuclear medicine using PET/CT, including ongoing international collaborative projects. In collaboration with the university, training of physicians and radiologic technologists is also provided. The clinic employs just under 300 staff members. The position is based at Norrlands University Hospital. Since Imaging and Functional Medicine Västerbotten is a regional clinic, work at the hospitals in Lycksele and Skellefteå may occur. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a Care Developer with us, you create conditions for collaboration, new knowledge, and a strong future. This means driving improvement work at both operational and strategic levels in close collaboration with management, and supporting the development of sustainable and efficient working methods with the patient's and the organization's needs in focus. Assignments may include process development, governing documents, audits, and work environment. You support the organization in developing and monitoring goals and key metrics for analyzing results, deviations, and trends as a basis for development and improvement. You also support the organization with communication matters, information structure, and management of digital collaboration spaces. The role also includes administrative tasks of a more operational nature. You work closely with managers, other professionals, and support functions, and become an important part of strengthening collaboration, driving development, and identifying long-term sustainable solutions. Environmental scanning is a natural part of the role. QUALIFICATIONS For this position, you need to have relevant higher education in health care or other experience that the employer deems equivalent. You have previously worked with development and improvement initiatives and preferably have experience with project and method development in a complex organization. To succeed in this role, you need strong self-initiative and the ability to engage and collaborate with others to achieve good results. You work in a structured and methodical manner and have both an eye for detail while being able to work long-term and strategically. As a colleague, you are diplomatic and show trust in others' expertise. You express yourself well in Swedish both orally and in writing and have a good ability to adapt your message based on audience and context. You also have good digital skills and administrative abilities and learn new systems and digital tools easily. Employment type: Permanent employment.
