About the role You plan, implement, and follow up on teaching based on current curriculum documents and educational goals. The work includes teaching, mentoring, assessment, and documentation. You help students develop both their theoretical knowledge and the practical skills required in healthcare and social care. Teaching may include, for example, practical exercises, discussions based on real cases, preparation for work placements, and training in communication, interpersonal skills, and professional conduct. You also maintain contact with work placement sites and collaborate with colleagues and the working world to create a cohesive and relevant education. Who are we looking for? We're seeking someone with a relevant background in healthcare and social care and a strong interest in learning and development. You could, for example, be: a licensed vocational instructor in healthcare and social care a trained nurse trained in healthcare and social care with solid professional experience and pedagogical interest You are confident in your professional expertise and enjoy explaining, mentoring, and motivating others. You build good relationships while being clear, organized, and able to adapt teaching to meet students' different needs. You don't need prior experience in adult education. For us, your professional experience, pedagogical ability, and commitment to supporting student development are what matter. It is a merit if you have teacher certification and qualification in healthcare and social care subjects experience in teaching or mentoring experience from municipal adult education experience working with language development approaches experience mentoring students or staff in healthcare and social care good proficiency with digital tools and learning platforms About Arena Utbildning Arena Utbildning conducts adult education on behalf of municipalities and other public actors throughout Sweden. We offer education in, among other areas, healthcare and social care, children and leisure, warehouse and logistics, hospitality and tourism, Swedish for immigrants, and theoretical courses at basic and upper secondary levels.
