Healthcare Center Kolmården is seeking a care unit manager who wants to lead and develop operations and also contribute to clinical activities. The healthcare center is located in a beautiful setting – where safety, collaboration, and a focus on development characterize everyday work. Our Offer Healthcare Center Kolmården is part of Primary Care Center Östergötland, which consists of 33 region-operated healthcare centers, Healthcare Center Finspång, Child Health Care Unit, 1177 and on-call centers for evenings and weekends, and the General Medicine Training Center. The healthcare center is beautifully situated in Krokek, with proximity to both forest and coast. The operations employ just over 35 staff members who provide care throughout life – from newborns to the elderly. The patient list is approximately 7000, and the catchment area extends over both rural and urban areas. There is a strong team spirit among different professional disciplines here. Close collaboration occurs with the healthcare center's neighboring care providers in order to provide residents with the best possible care. The healthcare center has child health services, several specialist clinics, and the assignment also includes responsibility for a nursing home with 40 beds as well as physician oversight in municipal home care services. We see that you are open to being clinically active, as this is expected to be part of your assignment. The extent will be determined in dialogue with the responsible manager. As a care unit manager, you report to the operations manager and have personnel responsibility as well as responsibility for finances, quality, and working environment. You lead employees in daily work and drive development in forward-looking primary care. Development work is conducted jointly by you managers together with other staff members at the healthcare center. In your assignment, you will be part of the joint development work within Primary Care Center, Region Östergötland. About You We are looking for someone who is educated in healthcare and also has experience as a leader within healthcare. If you also have experience working in primary care, this is seen as highly meritorious for the position. You must have good Swedish proficiency in speaking and writing; great weight will be placed on personal suitability and that you are the right person for our operations. We see the importance of present leadership and believe this is something that comes naturally to you. Seeing all employees and letting everyone have a say is also a given in your leadership. We are looking for someone who is confident in yourself and can motivate, create engagement, and foster participation. We further believe that you have good organizational ability and a knack for communicating clearly. You are driven by solving problems with a focus on the whole. Application and Employment The position of care unit manager is a fixed-term management assignment for four years with permanent employment in your base profession.
