Anopiva is the largest clinic at University Hospital in Linköping and in Region Östergötland. The clinic is organized in sections – the intensive care section, operating room north, operating room south – and the sterile processing unit, with a total of over 500 employees. Job Description
As a nursing unit manager, you are responsible for operations, finances, personnel, and work environment matters. You will have shared leadership, which means close collaboration with the current nursing unit managers in the operating room. You will also work closely with the section managers for operations, who are medically responsible, as well as with other nursing unit managers and section managers at Anopiva. Together we drive and develop operating room and intensive care services in the best way for our patients and employees, as well as for the clinics we collaborate with around patient care.
Work Team
The work team consists of nursing assistants, assistant nurses, registered nurses, and specialist nurses in anesthesia and operations. The nursing unit manager also collaborates closely with section managers and other nursing unit managers at the clinic, and is part of the clinic's management group, which means close collaboration across different parts of the clinic. Knowledge transfer and development occur together with clinic employees, including at educational days and workplace meetings.
About You
You have education relevant to the assignment at a minimum secondary school level. Experience in operating room activities is advantageous, as is management experience and/or management training.
For you to thrive and fit in with us, your personal qualities are important. You are confident, stable, and have good self-awareness and the ability to adapt your working style according to circumstances, and you have good organizational skills, the ability to structure and collaborate. You have good communication skills and demonstrate good judgment toward patients, family members, and colleagues.
Application and Employment
You will be offered a permanent full-time employment in your base profession. The management assignment is a limited-term appointment for four years.
