The ICU is part of the Perioperative and Intensive Care Operations Area (PVI). In total, we have 650 employees in the operations area. PVI is a university healthcare unit (USV unit) where care, research, education, and implementation of new knowledge are our core mission.
The ICU has 12 care beds and is also responsible for advanced postoperative care (postop) at Södersjukhuset. We care for patients from all operations areas, including children. In total, we have approximately 170 employees at the ICU and postop.
Employment Form:
Permanent position as an intensive care nurse.
Job Responsibilities:
In your role as nursing manager, you are responsible for daily operations management, creating conditions for change and improvement work, and developing collaboration within your own unit and with partners outside your operations area. Together with the other nursing managers, you share responsibility for efficient resource utilization, environment, and working conditions at the ICU.
Qualifications:
We are looking for a licensed nurse with specialist training in intensive care.
Management training and experience in managerial roles are advantageous.

You report directly to the Care Manager and are part of the ICU leadership together with the care manager, other nursing managers, section manager, medical director, and operations developer.
