The Medical Specialist Clinic (MSK) operates a broad internal medicine service with 42 beds, care units, specialist clinics, and an emergency department. At the emergency department, we work in teams with a focus on patient safety, quality, and collaboration. As a nursing unit manager, you will have a central role in leading and developing operations together with engaged colleagues and fellow managers. Job description As a nursing unit manager, you will have close collaboration with the emergency department's current nursing unit manager and unit physicians. Together you will lead operations with a focus on quality, working environment, economy, and continued development of the emergency department's mission. You will become part of the clinic's nursing unit management group where there is strong collegial support and a well-established collaboration between experienced fellow managers. In the role, you will have personnel and working environment responsibility for 20-30 nurses and nursing assistants. You actively work to create conditions for staff development, participation, and engagement while driving operations toward set goals and ensuring a good and sustainable working environment. The role also offers the possibility of clinical service, based on operational needs. The management role involves delegated responsibility from the operations manager for the unit's results, research and development, and responsibility for operations, economy, personnel, quality, and working environment. About you We are seeking you who are a licensed nurse and have experience from health and medical care. Experience from emergency care is a merit, but the most important thing is that you understand the mission of care and are driven to create the best possible conditions for patients and staff.
