About the Job Are you the one who makes it possible for people to stay in their own homes? To create good working conditions and strengthen the work environment, we are now expanding our teams. We are therefore looking for several care assistants for home care services within Gothenburg City. Working in home care means you support and help care recipients in their own homes based on approved services. You travel to the individual's home by e-bike or car. Your work includes practical help with personal hygiene and care, support with meals, activities, laundry, cleaning, and more. The goal is for care recipients to have meaningful days where you provide good care and social support. You also perform health and medical care tasks according to instructions and delegation from licensed personnel. All social documentation is done digitally. If you have not previously used the systems used within Gothenburg City, you will receive training in these. As a care assistant in home care, you get varied work where you contribute to a dignified and meaningful life. We offer permanent full-time positions. We currently have needs at the facilities Torslanda Evening (visit address: Flygledarevägen 1), Utby/Gamlestan (visit address: Artillerigatan 25). Work at Torslanda Evening involves evening shifts including work every other weekend, and work at Utby/Gamlestan involves day and evening shifts, including work every other weekend. The work day can sometimes turn out differently than planned, so it is important that you can quickly prioritize tasks, remain calm, and have the ability to balance different demands. To ensure high quality in our care and services, we would like you, if you do not have care education, to have the necessary prerequisites so you can further your education to become a care assistant or nursing assistant through adult education. We think long-term and want you as an employee to grow and develop, so we would like you to be motivated to eventually study further within care and health services.
