JOB DUTIES At the Short-term Home, children, young people, and adults with various functional variations reside. Users stay in the facility for varying numbers of days per month based on their assessed decisions. The purpose of short-term residence is to provide relief to relatives and users with a change of environment. The facility operates based on the fundamental principles and important starting points of the LSS law. The facility's goal is for users to feel secure and receive high-quality services. The work includes the ability to meet individuals' needs for guidance and care with respect for self-determination, independence, and integrity. The work tasks include being responsive to users' individual needs, wishes, and resources. We offer meaningful and varied work in a dedicated team with a good work climate. Work hours are scheduled and include day, evening, and weekend shifts. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who wants to work with people with physical, mental, and/or neuropsychiatric disabilities. We would prefer that you have upper secondary education in care or child and leisure education with a focus on developmental disabilities, social work, or other education with similar focus or equivalent experience. It is an advantage if you have previous experience working in LSS services and/or short-term residential facilities. You should be responsible and have a positive mindset. It is a requirement that you have experience with the target group. You demonstrate good judgment and understand that you yourself influence situations through what you say and do. You should be open to new ideas, take initiative, be flexible, have the ability to work long-term, have good collaboration skills, and maintain a professional approach. You can work both independently and in a team, and have strong communication skills in Swedish both verbally and in writing. Great weight will be placed on personal suitability.
