The Role of Healthcare Administrator As a healthcare administrator at the Acute Care Clinic, you're responsible for healthcare administrative tasks at the county's three hospitals – Jönköping, Eksjö, and Värnamo. You document and administer acute care contacts, gaining broad medical insight into several different specialties. We actively work to develop the healthcare administrative function together with the rest of the acute care operations. This means your work tasks may change over time, and you'll have the opportunity to be part of development efforts. Your Workplace The Acute Care Clinic is responsible for the care of seriously ill and time-critical patients who require rapid intervention and whose conditions are not handled in primary care. The healthcare administrative unit is a county-wide function that staffs the acute care reception areas in Jönköping, Eksjö, and Värnamo as well as the acute care ward in Jönköping. We're in a phase where we're together developing and clarifying the healthcare administrative role, as the needs within acute care operations change. Your Profile We're looking for someone who has: • Education in healthcare administration or what the employer considers equivalent. • Preferably coding training and experience with the Cosmic medical records system • Previous experience in healthcare administrative work is a plus, but we also welcome those new to the profession We believe you: • Have the ability to work both independently and in close collaboration with others • Thrive in a changing environment and contribute with a solution-focused approach • Are service-oriented and have an eye for detail • Are responsible, positive, and contribute to a good work environment We place great importance on personal suitability. The position is a permanent full-time employment with placement in Jönköping, Värnamo, or Eksjö. Start date by agreement. Working hours include days, evenings, and nights, with shifts also on weekends. A salary supplement is provided in addition to base salary and shift differentials.
