At CSD West, you will become a key person in the work of improving care processes and contributing to more cohesive and sustainable structures in healthcare. We are primarily looking for a registered nurse, but we also welcome other healthcare professionals with relevant expertise. About Us Centrum för sällsynta diagnoser (CSD) exists in each healthcare region and functions as a competence and support function without a direct care mandate. Healthcare professionals, patients, relatives, and various societal actors can turn to CSD. The mission is to ensure that people of all ages with rare health conditions have access to adequate diagnostic and care services. CSD West is part of the Clinical Genetics and Genomics (KGG) operational area at Sahlgrenska University Hospital. You will be part of a team of five colleagues (physicians, nurses, and an information specialist) who plan, implement, and follow up on care development projects and processes, support research activities, and help implement new knowledge within the healthcare organization. Together with colleagues, you will receive and follow up on cases referred through CSD's guidance function, register data in quality registries, and handle administrative tasks related to CSD's mission. The team identifies, supports, makes visible, and establishes multidisciplinary expert teams for various rare disease groupings. The work involves collaboration with regional and national rare disease program areas, as well as various care providers, including national highly specialized care and European Reference Networks (ERN). Who Are We Looking For? We are looking for a registered nurse, but we also welcome applicants with other relevant healthcare professions. You should have good knowledge of healthcare structure and experience working with complex medical conditions and care flows. You are comfortable writing structured reports, expressing yourself in formal settings, and have experience in operations or care development, preferably in project form. You use digital tools in both clinical and development work. It is advantageous if you have experience in adult healthcare, in-depth knowledge of healthcare management and governance, experience with rare diagnoses, or highly specialized care. As a person, you are driven, curious, and thrive on making an impact and improving processes. You are organized and self-directed, but also a clear team player who builds good relationships both within and outside your own unit. You are experienced in working on projects, taking responsibility from idea to implementation and follow-up, and you are comfortable teaching and presenting to different audiences. Personal suitability is given great weight.
