We are looking for someone who wants to work with complex real estate legal issues and varied negotiation situations within the projects Cross-link Södertörn, Mälarbanan, Ostlänken, and other road and rail projects, together with a fantastic team of land negotiators.
Work Tasks
In the role of land negotiator, you are a specialist in land access issues in the Swedish Transport Administration's road and rail projects. As a land negotiator, you work in all phases of projects, from planning to completed construction. This, combined with the projects' different character, means that the work has great breadth and the issues vary.
Some examples of work tasks that you perform independently and in collaboration with your colleagues:
Evaluate and negotiate compensation for encroachments and damages
Draft real estate legal agreements
Maintain contact with affected property owners, both in person and digitally
Represent the Swedish Transport Administration in surveying procedures and other government contacts
As a land negotiator, you are the link between the Swedish Transport Administration and individual landowners, municipalities, government agencies, and other stakeholders.

In this position, work outside office hours and travel may occur.
Qualifications
Who Are You?
To thrive and succeed in the land negotiator role, we expect you to be a communicative person, skilled in both listening and conveying messages in an easily understandable way. Since the role involves extensive contact, we emphasize the importance of your ability to establish trusting relationships in external collaborations and that you need to be flexible and relationship-oriented with your colleagues to contribute to a positive work environment. In addition to teamwork, the work tasks include independent work, which means you have drive and the ability to take own initiative. It is also important that you work in a structured and thorough manner to ensure quality in your work.
We are looking for someone who has:
a university degree of at least 180 credits (120 p) in surveying/civil engineering or law degree with a focus on real estate law, or alternatively another higher education/university degree of at least 180 credits (120 p) combined with work experience that we consider equivalent
several years of current and relevant work experience in real estate legal issues
good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing
driver's license for passenger cars
