About the Role
We're looking for you to work in a small team supporting a 23-year-old woman in Uddevalla – a vibrant, humorous, and joyful person with a neurological disability. She has lots of energy and determination, and with the right support, she has the opportunity to live a rich and active life.
She communicates primarily through body language, sounds, pictures, and TAKK (Signs as Alternative and Augmentative Communication). That's why we're looking for someone with a genuine interest in human connection, communication, and interaction.
Your Days With Us
With us, the work is about creating conditions for quality of life – both for the person we support and for the team. You will, among other things:
· Be a secure support during transfers and daily routines
· Provide care and support
· Participate in motor training and physical activity
· Take part in leisure activities such as horseback riding, sailing, music, swimming, and play
· Contribute to communication and structure using signs, pictures, and other supportive methods
Who Are You?
We believe you're an active and secure person who enjoys working close to others. Maybe you already have experience from disability services or health and social care – or perhaps you simply have a big heart and the right attitude.
You:
· Have a calm, patient, and attentive approach
· Enjoy being active and creating meaningful activities
· Have the ability to handle challenging situations in a low-key manner
· See the importance of fostering independence in the person you support – you enable rather than direct
Practical Information
· Working hours: Day, evening, weekends, and night (on-call shifts included)
· Employment: 2 positions at 80%
· Location: At the client's home and wherever she is
· Salary: According to collective agreement (Kommunal)
· Requirements: B driving license, good Swedish, and a police certificate
