LAU Infra Grupa AS reg. no. 40003356530 announces a competition for BOARD MEMBER with competence in financial management Mandatory minimum requirements for candidates: academic higher education or second-level professional higher education in financial management or business management and preferably in information technology (entry in CV regarding obtained academic higher education or second-level professional higher education, indicating all acquired education levels, degrees and copies of documents confirming education must be attached. If higher education was obtained abroad, attach a copy of the document on its academic recognition in Latvia); at least three years of experience (acquired in the last 10 years): - in financial management in a medium or large enterprise; - experience as a board member in a medium or large enterprise; or - experience in an equivalent management position (company manager or other senior management position that reports directly to company management or the board), which ensures the competences and knowledge necessary to professionally perform the duties of a board member in this specific position; (experience entry in CV, indicating the enterprise, positions corresponding to the requirements, time and duration of experience, main responsibilities, company size and sector); state language proficiency at C1 level and English language proficiency at B2 level; (entry in CV, with knowledge level determined according to the European common framework for language proficiency levels. Candidates whose native language is not Latvian and who have not obtained primary, secondary or higher education in accredited programs in Latvian must submit a copy of state language proficiency certificate.) unblemished reputation (a candidate for the position of board member is considered a person with unblemished reputation if there is no publicly available evidence to the contrary and there is no reason for well-founded doubts about the person's unblemished reputation) Compliance requirements: - Requirements of Article 31, fourth part of the Law on Management of Capital Shares and Capital Companies of Public Persons; - Compliance with the requirements of the Law "On Prevention of Conflict of Interest in Activities of State Officials" (Candidate declaration – declaration form available on LAU website); required competences: - strategic vision (essential competence) - ability to set clear challenging short-term and long-term objectives for the capital company; ability to analyze the capital company's operations in the context of both industry and state development (possesses long-term vision); - team management - assumes a leadership role and effectively organizes team work to ensure achievement of objectives; resolves internal conflicts within the team to prevent them from hindering results; - decision-making and accountability - ability to make decisions in a short time and in situations with limited information available, including unpopular decisions; fully responsible for processes and results within their competence; - results orientation (essential competence) - sets challenging objectives for oneself and others; analyzes work results, improves work methods to increase efficiency; tries new approaches and works methodically to achieve objectives. - change management - personally provides clear vision of the impact of changes; creates an environment that promotes and encourages changes and innovations. Additional evaluated requirements (knowledge, skills and experience acquired in the last 10 years): required knowledge and understanding of financial management issues; experience in financial management in a management position in a medium or large enterprise, or in an enterprise with complex structure and/or processes; required understanding, knowledge and practical experience working with international financial reporting standards; required experience in change management; required experience in team management; desired experience in an international or stock exchange listed company; required ability to clearly express your opinion, argue, and build constructive discussion; desired experience in information technology and information technology project management; desired experience in public speaking and presentation; required analytical, business and strategic thinking; understanding of LAU Infra Grupa AS operations, areas, objectives, financial management issues and state capital companies' operations, regulatory acts governing them and good corporate governance principles. Work location: Riga Monthly salary (gross): 7572 EUR Board member responsibility areas: financial management and information technology management.
