As a custodian at Nacka gymnasium, you'll have an important role in the daily operations of our school. This is a permanent position with a start date by agreement. Your assignment As a custodian at Nacka gymnasium, you will work together with colleagues and a facilities manager to provide service, care, and maintenance of the school's indoor and outdoor spaces. You'll have an important role in creating a safe, secure, and well-functioning environment for students and staff. Your duties include: • Promptly addressing maintenance requests submitted via the municipality's case management system • Performing minor repairs as well as painting, assembly, and anchoring work • Assembling, repairing, and repurposing furniture and equipment • Coordinating moves, furnishing, and refurnishing of spaces • Managing recycling and waste according to applicable procedures • Managing locks and alarm systems • Collaborating with principals, educators, administrative staff, and external suppliers • Participating in facility and safety inspections and contributing to systematic fire safety and workplace environment initiatives Work is conducted both indoors and outdoors, and the role includes driving the school's vehicles. Heavy lifting may occur, for example in connection with moves and furnishing. The position is based during daytime hours on weekdays, though some weekend work may be required, for example during college entrance exams and open house events. Your experience For this position, you must have: • Experience working as a custodian or similar role, for example as a facilities manager, carpenter, electrician, or tradesperson, or alternatively have acquired this knowledge through other means • Class B driver's license It is advantageous if you also have: • Training as a facilities manager, carpenter, electrician, tradesperson, or other relevant field for this role • Experience with facility management and maintenance • Strong ability to communicate in Swedish, both verbally and in writing • Experience working in a school and/or preschool setting Is this you?
