The position is divided between Mariagården in central Strängnäs and Riagården in Åkers Styckebruk, with two and a half days per week at each facility. As a custodian, you will be an important part of the operations and contribute with your service, practical knowledge, and ability to find smart solutions in everyday situations. Mariagården has 40 residential places, of which 20 are adapted for people with dementia. Riagården, located in the nature-rich mill town of Åkers Styckebruk, has 46 places, of which 10 are designated for people with dementia. WORK RESPONSIBILITIES As a custodian, you are an important part of our operations. You are responsible for ensuring that the residential environment is safe, comfortable, and functioning well while maintaining frequent contact with both residents and staff. You will, among other things: • Be responsible for minor repairs and maintenance of the property. • Assemble furniture and other equipment. • Perform minor troubleshooting and corrections. • Be responsible for outdoor areas and minor gardening work. • Handle waste, transportation, and deliveries, as well as order consumables. • Check that common areas and technical equipment function as they should. • Have contact with property owners, contractors, and other external parties as needed. • Assist with practical tasks that make daily life easier for both residents and staff. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who has: • A secondary school diploma. • Current and relevant experience in custodial work, property maintenance, crafts, or similar work. • Good ability to express yourself in Swedish in both speech and writing. • Good computer skills. • A valid Class B driving license.
