As a facilities manager, you will become an important part of our operations and contribute to ensuring that the entire facility is safe, functional, clean, and welcoming for our visitors and guests. Kockum Fritid is a sports and recreation center featuring an ice rink, sports halls, gym, badminton, squash, and conference facilities. Here you will daily meet visitors, sports clubs, schools, companies, and conference guests. As a facilities manager, you will work on the daily supervision and maintenance of the entire facility. Your tasks will vary and include everything from rounds, minor repairs and practical maintenance to furniture arrangement and preparations for matches, activities, events, and conferences. You work both independently and together with colleagues from other departments. Your main responsibilities Daily rounds and facility supervision Handling maintenance requests Minor repairs and practical maintenance Supervision of premises, equipment, locks, doors, and gates Assembly, disassembly, and relocation of equipment Setup changes for matches, activities, and events Ice machine operation and practical work in the ice rink Contact and collaboration with external contractors Security rounds and reporting of risks and deviations Roving cleaning and emptying of trash bins Litter collection and maintenance of the facility's outdoor areas Snow removal and de-icing as needed Service to visitors, clubs, schools, and colleagues Work in the conference facility An important part of the position is providing practical service to Kockum Fritid's conference operations. We place great emphasis on ensuring that conference facilities are always clean, neat, and welcoming for our guests. The tasks include, among other things: Furnish and arrange conference rooms according to client specifications Carry out transitions between conferences and events Perform light cleaning and continuously ensure that the rooms maintain a high standard Check that conference rooms and common areas are clean, functional, and representative Prepare and check projectors, screens, audio, and other conference equipment Assist conference guests and colleagues with practical and technical questions Clear, reset, and prepare rooms for the next guest We are looking for someone who Is practical-minded and enjoys solving problems Takes responsibility and recognizes what needs to be done Is service-oriented and has a professional demeanor Is meticulous and has an eye for order, cleanliness, and overall impression Enjoys varied tasks and occasionally high-paced work Can work both independently and as part of a team Understandings of safety and follows established procedures Has experience in facilities management, property maintenance, service, or similar work Experience with ice rink operations, conference management, conference technology, or work in a sports and recreation facility is a plus.
