Solhemsskolan is located in Spånga, about a ten-minute walk from Spånga Centrum. You can easily reach us by commuter train from, among other places, T-centralen. Spånga C has many bus lines available to our nearby area.
Solhemsskolan is a four-parallel F-6 school with approximately 735 students and 100 employees. Solhemsskolan consists of two school units, Solhemsskolan and Solhemsängens skola. The school leadership consists of a principal and three assistant principals, as well as an administrative manager.
Job Description
We are now looking for a committed and professional school caretaker. In the role of school caretaker at Solhemsskolan, you are part of our support and service team and work to ensure that the daily operations of the school run as smoothly as possible. You have many contacts throughout your workday with, among others, the school's students, staff, school leadership, property managers, craftspeople, and visitors to the school. The position includes, among other things: Ongoing inventory, maintenance, and minor repairs of the school's equipment, furnishings, and facilities. Responsibility for waste management, goods reception, opening/closing of school facilities, mail handling, coffee machines, and other office equipment. Handling of locks, keys, and alarms. Inventory, distribution, and purchasing of consumable materials in Agresso. Reporting and follow-up of defects and shortcomings in the school's indoor and outdoor environment. Contact with facility caretakers, alarm companies, contractors, etc. Responsibility for rearrangements and internal moves. Distributed tasks within the work environment area and fire safety work, risk assessments, inspections, and safety rounds. You have a professional and friendly manner with students, staff, guardians, internal and external parties, and enjoy providing good service and support. The workload varies throughout the year, and to enjoy working as a school caretaker, you need to be stress-resilient and have the ability to independently prioritize your work tasks as needed. Your work is led by the administrative manager, who is also your direct supervisor.
