About the Role Want to contribute to a safer society? As a security guard at Securitas, you make a difference every day. You create safety for people, businesses, and critical societal functions by being present, attentive, and action-oriented. You can work as either a mobile or stationary security guard. In both roles, you are an important part of preventing incidents, helping people, and ensuring that our customers' operations run safely and securely. As a mobile security guard, you work independently at customer sites in industrial, office, and workshop environments. You conduct inspections, handle alarms, and report incidents using digital systems. As a stationary security guard, you are often the customer's first contact. You welcome visitors, check access in and out, and work with surveillance, patrols, and sometimes camera monitoring. Tasks vary depending on the assignment and customer. This role suits you if you enjoy meeting people, taking responsibility, and contributing to safety in everyday life. The work is varied and offers a combination of independence, problem-solving, and service. If you are not yet trained as a security guard, Securitas will cover your basic training prior to employment. These services include work during both day and night shifts. Work shifts are often 12 hours long, and since our operations run 24/7 year-round, work typically includes every other weekend. Job Requirements To be considered for this position, we see that you meet the following requirements: Approved grades in Swedish from the first year of upper secondary school Class B driver's license Meritorious if you have worked with similar tasks previously have civilian or military protective security training have complete security guard training As a person, we believe you are service-oriented, calm, and organized and can handle periods of high work pace. You are interested in technology and have an easy time understanding instructions. Depending on the position, security vetting under the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may also be relevant. To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements to be approved according to the respective legislation, a background check is conducted.
