About the Role Want to make a difference year-round? Right now our Ljungby office is looking for employees who want to work year-round. If you're not already a trained security guard, Securitas will cover your training before employment. We are now recruiting security guards for our Ljungby office as needed. This involves varying shifts as a stationary guard, but primarily as a patrol guard, mainly on night shifts. The position suits you if you enjoy working with people and helping them in their daily lives. As a security guard at our Ljungby office, you'll be part of a tight-knit team. Your tasks are highly varied, and as a guard you can work both indoors and outdoors, night or day. Shift lengths vary, but often consist of 12-hour shifts either day or night. Since we operate every day of the year, it's common to work every other weekend. As a patrol guard, your primary task is to provide security to our customers - mainly at industries, offices, and workshops - by protecting property and buildings against fire, theft, and damage. Typically, you manage alarm systems and report using a computerized patrol information system. The work is independent and often feels free, but carries great responsibility. As a stationary guard, your primary task is to provide security to one of our customers by being attentive and ensuring everything is in order. You often work at the entrance to a large company, controlling who enters and exits, but you may also conduct patrols and camera surveillance. Tasks vary from customer to customer. Requirements Approved grades in Swedish from the first year of upper secondary school Good knowledge of English Class B driver's license Meritorious if you have worked with similar tasks before have civil or military security guard training We believe that as a person you are service-oriented, calm, and organized, and can handle periodically high work pace. You are interested in technology and have an easy time understanding instructions.
