If you are not already a trained security guard, Securitas will cover the cost of your training before employment. In this position, you will work as a mobile security guard. As a mobile security guard, you are responsible for providing security at multiple customer locations during your shift. You travel between customers by car and perform various types of inspections, including area surveillance, patrols inside facilities, alarm responses, and facility closings for customers. In this role, it is important that you document your work and any irregularities you encounter. The work is independent and often feels free, but comes with great responsibility. The mobile security guard role is suitable for you if you want a position where you get to move around. Regardless of which customer you work for, your primary task is to be alert and ensure that everything is in order. You work independently and under your own responsibility. These positions suit you if you enjoy working with people and helping them in their daily lives. The work tasks are highly varied, and as a security guard you can work both indoors and outdoors, nights or days. Shift lengths vary, but are often 12-hour shifts either day or night. Requirements Requirements Approved grades in Swedish from the first year of upper secondary school Category B driver's license Swedish citizenship It is meritorious if you also have Security guard training. Civil or military security guard training; if you have completed security guard training with the Swedish Armed Forces as part of the Armed Forces basic training (GMU), this can be validated for civilian use. The security guard training and GMU must have been completed in 2016 or later, and your training certificate must not be older than five years at the time of application. Experience from the security industry and have worked with similar tasks previously. Security Vetting Please note that this position is classified as requiring security vetting and means you will undergo a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585). To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements to be approved under applicable regulations, security interviews, background checks, and register checks will be conducted. The assessment aims to investigate lawfulness, suitability, reliability, loyalty, and potential vulnerabilities according to the Swedish Security Police's regulations and guidance. Information obtained may come from you, open sources, or government agencies. We apply a comprehensive assessment of you, your life situation, and financial circumstances when evaluating your suitability. Where applicable, equivalent checks may be conducted on anyone you cohabitate with or have a similar relationship with. To be considered for the position, you must therefore (at minimum): You/you do not appear in the Police Authority's various registers, such as suspect register, conviction register, etc. You/you have orderly finances; do not have payment defaults, unsettled debts, or appear with collection agencies or the Enforcement Authority.
